GOOD DEAL, however, if you bought the USB-TO-IDE external converter, then you can interchange the HD, CDROM, CDRW. (and save you some money as well)

USB-TO-IDE=$59

*bump* for the USB to IDE convertor, but i'd wait for USB 2.0, USB 1.x only supports a max of 1.5 megabytes/second and that's shared among all USB devices.

USB 2.0 supports 60 megabytes/second

Staples has a WD 40gb FIREWIRE drive in their ad for $269.98 (SKU 443937) with a FREE Firewire PCI card (SKU 443938) after mail in rebate. Twice the storage for 80 bucks more and IEEE 1394 has a bandwidth of 400mps, more than enough to do digital video on the fly. Just my 0.02
