my friend was defraggin his hard drive and up popped a file that was 20.7GBs. The name of the file is ~GLH000b.TMP and is in the windows directory. Would it be ok to delete the file? Anyone come upon anything like this before? Thanks.

If it's a .TMP file, then chances are, it's safe to delete. Typically, .TMP denotes a temporary file that's meant to be deleted anyways.

figured as much, guess he can delete it, hes only got an 80 GB HDD so this will clear up a hell of alot of space.
