20-30$ to park at the Fairmont Hotel in SF?!?!?

Someone told me that's how much it costs to park there for a couple hours at night... is that true, and why?

I paid $7 a night to park at my hotel in Atlanta, and about the same in Denver as well.

Parking is a rip off in downtown areas.

parking at the fairmont in any city costs between $20-35. why? cause they can.

It's about $40 overnight at NYC hotels and Chicago isn't far behind.

In downtown San Francisco paying $20 to park for the day is pretty common. Especially near hotels and touristy places, or near convention centers.

Suckas!! Paying so much for parking. One more reason i will never leave Ulanbator. Atleast the parking is cheap.
