20 - 22" monitors?

What are some good 20 to 22" CRT monitors, and why?
Glen (who's AT username is also Glen) looks to have broken his monitor in moving (21", IIRC), and is looking for a replacement. He can't get on the 'net at the moment, so I'm posting this to ask for him.

Logged in on my roomate's PC.

Is the
Dell > SONY
or
Dell > NEC/Mitsubishi

because the

P1130 21-inch CRT Monitor 21-inch is $679.00

and the

NEC/MITSUBISHI
AccuSync 120 21-inch CRT Monitor 21-inch is only $429.95

I got a refurb Sony g500 21" for $200 by searching around. I have had it for almost two years now and it rocks. Check refurb if you are short on dough, just be sure to test it out and get a 30-60 day replacement guarantee...

Dell uses sony AG Tubes. If the price is limits you, go for the NEC/Mitsubishi series. They display the same pleasure to the eye without gouging your wallet. I personally use a Mitsu Diamondtron NF 2040U and a NEC 1250+. I got the 1250+ as a refurb for only $240 from merkortech as a Grade A deal. YMMV.

I drove 7 hours round trip to pick it up in Cleveland to save on shipping, this is where i will be getting my next monitor, save big bucks this way.

*edit*
I got mine even cheaper when i saw they were selling on ebay, i got my g500 for $200 vs $319 on their site, either way i would be glad to pay $319 for this monitor, it has the best quality short of a top of the line lcd that i have seen.

im going to have to second this. hit up ebay and you could get one shipped to your door for 250ish.. maybe less. they are rock solid monitors with awsome specs. make sure you get the perfect flat though, not the one with the slightly rounded tube.

like this guy, currently at 125
