**UPDATE**
thought some people might be interested. I have had my 2 xboxes on my comcast cable for a while now and had some extensive gaming sessions and all I can say is it works great. We played a ton of Project Gotham 2, it lagged a few times (out of at least 100 races) but nothing major at all, and it is great having your own screen, plus we could have 4 players racing on live, but i'm not sure if my connection could handle that or not, but 2 players is fine. We also played a lot of pandora tomorrow with no noticeable lag. It is definately a cool setup having 2 TVs/Xboxes on live.
**UPDATE**

I have comcast cable that runs pretty fast and I have the extra IPs, has anyone tried putting 2 xboxes on one cable connection like this and playing on live? I figure the upload will not cut it and I would get a lot of lag, but am curious to hear anyone else's experiences.

It's doable. Lag wise - depends on the game. Obviously something like 16 player CS will have more lag than say a 2 player co-op in Rainbow 6, but it's hardly noticeable on my cousin's RR connection in Tennessee. We even system link two XBox's for Halo online when we play (we host 2 other boxes online) and there is hardly any lag for the other teams. (Halo is one of the most bandwidth intensive games because there is no central server - all information is relayed from Box A to Box B, C, D, Box B to A, C, D, etc instead of Box A being the central server relaying information)

You of course obviously need two Live accounts to do what you want though.

thanks for the comments. i like racing games a lot and think that would be mostly what i would play on it, i figure that bandwidth isn't as big of a deal for those games. I think i am going to try it out today and see how it goes, any other experiences?

Racing games shouldn't be a problem - PGR2 and MM3 are both playable with a good 8 people, having two on one connection won't hurt a thing.

Maybe obvious, but router or switch comes to mind for me. On a separate but somewhat related note, I recently hooked up my XBox in parallel to my PC. Used a router for the connection and used video input on PC's TV Card to have XBox running as an application on the same monitor. Lots of other interesting possibilities.

XBox + PC TV Card + Surround Sound = DVD Player + Interesting possibilities. :)

He knows about the router - I think he's talking about having 2 XBox's on the same broadband connection at the same time.
