2 x 7900GT SLI (OCed to GTX+) vs. 8800GTS 320MB?

I want to upgrade my video display in anticipation of Crysis and all the next-gen games...

Currently I'm running a 7900GT OCed to 675/1850 (GTX speeds) and I'm thinking of adding a second one for SLI. Or I can just sell the 7900GT and get a 8800GTS 320MB DX10-ready card instead.

Which option would be better?

Price would be the same, as I would be paying ~$140 either way (buy a second 7900GT or sell my 7900GT and buy a 8800GTS).

Performance would probably be better with the SLI cards cards, but I'm not so sure.

Then again, if I ran SLI, I'd have to figure out a way to fit two 7900GTs w/ two Zalman VF900CUs on my DFI NF4 SLI-DR (which I think is impossible).

Comments, suggestions?

8800 GTS would be better overall, methinks. You would get better performance in some scenarios with the SLi setup, but not the majority of the time.
