2 x 1GB DDR2 OCZ Gold DDR800 = 2GB or that Plus 2 x 512MB DDR2 667 = 3GB ???

Hi ,

Would i get better performance using just the 2 x 1GB DDR2 OCZ Gold DDR800 = 2GB

Or the 2 x 1GB DDR2 OCZ Gold DDR800 = 2GB + 2 x 512MB DDR2 667 = 3GB ?

Total System RAM .

I think i would have to run my OCZ 800 @ 677 To run it like that so i dont really know which would be best .

Any one have any tip or experience on this ?

Just use all of the RAM. You are right, you will have to run the RAM at the lower speed.

posting specs on the rest of your system would help.

unless you are running at FSB >= 400 then the slower ram will be fine
