DDR2 is still being manufactured in massive quantities and is a commodity. DDR1 is in limited production (hence - low supply) and is sold as a specialty upgrade for people who cannot replace their legacy DDR1 systems.

I bought this at Frys in Tempe, Arizona. I put it into a C2D P9657AB-8EKRS2H FoxConn motherboard and ran Memtest 86+ for two days with zero errors. This is with a motherboard that's VERY picky about memory selection. I've had ZERO problems with Crucial/Micron memory over many years. You can't get any higher quality memory, and you get to support an American manufacturer.

Too bad WinXP 32bit can only use 3.25Gb...I have two free slots and 750mb RAM that's not getting used.. :(
