I'm surprised no one has brought this up so I thought I would.
It seems as though these days that 2x1 gig modules are more popular due to games like battlefield 2.
Up until recently, most 2x1 gig modules couldn't run high HTT's... most were limited to the 230 to 240 range (at least from what i've seen).
Crucial ballistix pc4000 2x1 gig kit seem to be hitting some really nice HTT's with 3-3-3-X timings. As we all know, timings don't make a HUGE difference in the A64 realm with its onboard mem controller (refer to zebo's thread).
So far I've heard of 2 other manufacturers releasing some nice 2x1 gig kits.
