(2) WRT54GS routers

I've got cable (soon to be DSL) connected to a WRT54GS and a switch connected to that. I don't get very good coverage in 1 part of my house. I found a good price on another WRT54GS and would like to use it to extend my wireless coverage.

Will that work?

I'd connect the second router to the switch and disable DHCP. I don't see a way to turn off routing though. Is there a way to tell the WRT54GS not to route? I don't want both WAPs on different subnets.

My next question then is, if I turn off SSID broadcasting on both WAPs will I be able to roam between them?

Thanks for the help.

put bubblegum in the WAN port and use a crossover cable to go from switchport to switchport. Disable DHCP.

I guess that makes sense. I probably should have known that..

What about roaming between WAPS with SSID broadcasting disabled?

I've got both WAPs up and running. Is there a way to have my client automattically switche between the two? I'm using a Linksys WP54G.

Thanks.
