And neither of them have been my fault. I drive a 97 Saturn Coupe with 60,000 miles.
1st was 4.5 months ago. I was side swiped by some kid in a 95 Saturn running a red light. He knocked the passenger side door in and left it hanging off the side. Fortunately, it was repairable within a week and a half and it was paid for by his insurance, of course.
Today I'm stopped at another red light behind 3 cars. The first one has to make a left turn about 50 feet ahead after the light so everyone comes to a complete stop waiting for 1 person to take the left. Some crazy A-Hole in a 96 Ford Bronco comes barreling into my car and slams me into the 2003 Chevy Impala in front of me.
My rear end is completely fvcked. Tail lights are demolished. Bumper is hanging on by a thread. My truck is bent all to hell. The front isn't so bad since I jammed the wheel to the left. The front passenger side corner is smashed in. And there was no damage to his Bronco, or course.
Unfortunately, it may be more to get fixed than the Blue Book value which is probably around 3 grand. I only had 2 more payments and it was all mine. I had at least 2 or 3 more years to drive it with no car payment.
Now I will probably have to buy a new car with more freakin payments or get a P.O.S. used one. This really bites.
