You can't turn off virtual memory.

Unused memory is wasted memory. Use it all.

What are you really trying to accomplish? What's the point of all of this?

Geeze I'm not a mad scientist.😛 I don't like how my current RAM usage is about 500MB without any porograms open (not even Steam).

Understanding what the eventual goal is will help us give advice. If it's to get ram usage to 0, then I'll just ignore the thread. If your current ram usage is insane (which it sounds like it is), then getting it down might be a worth while cause. 🙂

What's currently eating up all that ram?
 
What type of computer do you have? Is it a Dell or Compaq or HP? Or did you build it yourself? How much physical memory is in the machine? How many processes are running after a fresh reboot? Sounds to me like you have a bunch of stuff running in the background, (this has nothing to do with services ...... leave those alone).
