Whats the better deal?
For the $648 config, I added the $99 128mb Nvidea Card to get $648 ($549+$99=$648)
$599

^^^^^^^
Added 128mb Video card for $99 to get that price
Now the difference I see are as follows
$648 one
6cell battery
160gb hardrive
2gbs ram.
Dell Wireless 1395 802.11g Wi-Fi Mini Card, Windows®XP OS Only
8X CD/DVD Burner w/ double-layer DVD+R write capability, w/ Roxio Creator
$599 one
9cell battery
120gb hardrive
1gb ram
Dell Wireless 1390 802.11g Wi-Fi Mini Card
8X CD/DVD+RW Read and Burn CD and DVD. Backup and share your data onto CDs or DVDs with a DVD+/-RW
Now am I missing something or is the $648 deal better? I mean whats the difference between the Wi-Fi cards and whats the difference with the DVD drives? Does one only burn DVD+R and the other both?
Now I could get the $648 config for $549 if I got rid of the video card and went with Intel® Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 I don't play many games and might watch movies on this thing or play stupid online flash games. Maybe light video editing stuff for fun.
Im reformatting with XP Pro anyway
Either way would it be worth upgrading the CPU for $75 to 1.6ghz of $130 to 2.0ghz regardless of videocard upgrade or not.
I guess im just stuck weather I should just subtract the dedicated video card and go with the 2.0ghz $130 upgrade
