I have 2 VL950SL monitors that died within 3 weeks of each other. When I turned them on I heard a click, then a pop, then got the nice burning electrical component smell. Both were being used in 2 different locations, so I do not believe it's a power issue. Plus one is on a very large APC Back-UPS. Anyone seen something similar? I believe this was the monitor suggested by Anand a little while back. They have worked perfectly up until now.
On that note, what are my options as far as 18 inch LCD's are concerned? I haven't seen any reviews of any yet. Also would be looking for a new video card to pair it up with.
The other blown CRT will be replaced by a CRT. Any suggestions for good 19 inch CRTs?
