lets say someone has two cards that were unable to crossfire. like say 7750 and 7870 running one monitor off of each. do the stream processors still add up? 512+1280=1792? what about the fact that they run off different bit rate? 128 vs 256? or will one monitor run just off of one card and the other off the second card? any help or insight on this would be appreciated, thanks

Jaydip is correct. Without Crossfire the cards work independently, and each monitor will run off of its respective card.

It's like putting two separate hard drives. Not raiding them or putting them in JBOD, they are just two separate drives.
