2 Video Cards, Must Chose one

Thanks for all the input and advice. I've finally decided I'd get the:

APOLLO ATI RADEON 9200SE Video Card, 64MB DDR, 64-bit, DVI/TV-Out, 8X AGP, Model "Devil Monster 3 Radeon 9200SE 64" -RETAIL

as Matthias99 and Zebo recc'd. I figure for $38, this may serve the purpose, I'll be able to mess around with 2048x1536 and see how it goes, perhaps I'll only be needing one monitor as my friend is letting me borrow a 21" SUN. We'll see how it goes. Thanks.

You are correct, RAMDACs are buit into the cores themselves these days, but different board makers have various quality control standards for the capacitors and such that filter the output which leads to the variations we see in the image quality of different cards.
