2 USB devices constantly using 10-15% of my CPU in WinXP.....

I just installed WindowsXP and everything is good so far. Except I have 2 USB N64/Playstation controller adapters that keep using 10-15% of my cpu constantly which causes some things to not function at full speed. I never had this problem before in Win2k or 98. I'm on a Duron system with a KT133a motherboard. Anyone know what could be causing this? Thanks.
 
Heck I have my Razor boomslang connected via the usb port. If I open up Task manager and look at my performance it idles around 0-2%, if I start typing on my usb keyboard it goes up to 4%. If i move my mouse around real fast it goes up to 92-96%. How about you tell us more about your system? Motherboard manufactor/model, the amount of ram you have, etc...
