2 Things I don't understand about the p4s533... help please!

I love this board. Have my 1.8a moving great at 2.4. I don't understand these 2 things and need some help.

1. I have ocz ddr 2700. What is the memory ratio I should use? It is at 1:1 right now.

2. I tried to go higher than 133 fsb. Jumped it up to 140 and got nothing. Had to power down and pull ou the power cord. Plugged it back in and it booted right into the bios and said I had the cpu set to run at the wrong speed blah blah blah. How do you get around that. Looking at other posts this thing should be able to go higher.

Thanks for your help. This is my first Asus. Came from the Gigabyte 8IRXP.

1) use a 4/5 ratio if you are at 133 fsb. This will set the ram at 166mhz or 333ddr (for pc 2700)
2) looks like moving up to 140 was a nogo for either your ram or your CPU (probably the CPU). If it fails to reboot correctly, it SHOULD, after a minute boot into the bios with default speeds loaded. Most Asus boards do this as a protective measure. Sometimes, however, we choose a speed setting that allows the computer to get part of the way through post, but not all the way. When this happens, the protective reset feature will not kick and and the CMOS must be reset (there is a jumper for this next to the cmos battery on the motherboard).

Cheers!
