2 Tablet PC's exactly the same, one has the T2050 and the other has the T5200

I'm considering one of these Tablets: R25-S3503 and R25-S3513

They are exactly the same except the processors but I can't find a comparison between core duo vs. core 2 duo with the same amount of L2 cache, the best I could find was this, but the differences in that article could be attributed to the fact that although they are at the same clockspeed, the T2700 only has 2MB of L2 cache whereas the T7600 has 4MB.

Performance-wise, you will see a very small performance increase from T2050 to T5200. They have the same clock, same FSB, and same L2 cache. T5200 is Merom core, so performance will be increased over Yonah-based T2050 but power consumption will be marginally up as well.

Pick the machine based on all other attributes first, but if it comes down to CPU, then choose T5200.

I'm looking at the same tablets. I'm getting the T2050 one.. hopefully.

Btw, the T2050 one seems to be out of stock all over the place. Theres only 1 place left according to pricegrabber.............

That does seem to be the better deal, seeing as there is almost no advantage to the T5200 over the T2050
