2 Speed Dremel Kit for $19.00 at Lowes Hardware

Lowes Hardware had an ad in the newspaper this morning listing a 2 Speed Dremel Kit with 39 bits for only $19.00. I got their early, and they were still all out of them. Seems they sold a whole bunch of them to Home Depot employees when they opened! Anyway, there was about 20 people all looking for these, so the tool manager said he was trying to get more of them, but doubted they would have anymore within the three days the ad runs. He then said he would honor the price past the three days the ad will run, if we brought in the ad for him to sign. These Dremel Kits are handy! And this price is $30 off.

The store in Tacoma WA sold 100 in the first hour. The manager said he ordered 150 more and if you leave your name and # he would get you one!

This IS a Hot Deal! However, I live in WI and the closest Lowes is 40 mi. away in IL. I called them and they said It's 49.95 before the $30 rebate (which they have not recieved yet). They where very helpful but I'm glad I called first! Any other ideas?

Take the Lowe's ad to Home Depot. They'll price match plus give you 10% off.

Question is whehter the rebate is Lowes specific, or can be used with a HD purchase

I didn't call first, I made a long drive, like an idiot. The dremel was $39, no mention anywhere on box or shelf of a rebate.

This price is good until Sunday. I called the Tacoma, WA store today to check on an ETA for them, and the manager told me they would not be in for a week at least. I called another store and they told me their computer said they would be in on on Thursday. I would call and get your name on a list by tomorrow, Sunday at the latest. I do not think they will honor it or take your name after then.

I just got one from the Lowe's in Torrance. We went in with a copy of the ad and showed it to an employee. He called the Lowe's in Seattle and confirmed the price with them so he honored the price for us. Better hurry we got most of the ones they had there.

Yep,just cleaned up @ my local Lowes,went in with the copy of the scan.Had to talk to the manager but he wasn`t a happy camper,but said ok anyway.
