2 Speakers (NVIDIA CineSurround)

I was looking @ the speaker settings in nvmixer and I noticed something called 2 Speakers (NVIDIA CineSurround). What is this? Is it a software 5.1 simulation or something? If I set CS:S to 5.1 would it sound better than normal?

I know it doesnt help, but I have the same thing, and I dont know what it does either.

Its just a software algorigthm to 'enhance' the sound. It gives it a 'larger' feel perhaps by enhancing the bass.. creating a very very small delay between the right and left channels... I dont know how to describe it. Overall it doesnt do much. It does not 'up-sample' to 5.1.

Try it and see what it feels like.

it just some feature... that bring 2.1 closer to 5.1
you won't notice anything really, 2.1 is just 2.1
I wouldn't change the speaker setup in CS:S to 5.1 extra load for nothing

it is like tru surround
