Is it possible to hook two computers into one set of speakers? Like maybe an amp or something. Of course two sound cards is needed but nor sure if it is possible.
first, why? they would be competing for sound time, I don't think it is possible, it would be like runing devices without irqs, they would all send data whenever they needed to causing collisions.
This dude at work wanted to know if there was a way. Cheap is what i call him but i started wondering if there was a way through an amp. Not that he wants to run both at once but whichever cpu he is on he can use that set of speakers. I dont know, was just a ? ...
I personally am on the hunt for some Klipsch 4.1's, unless the 5.1's are a deal.
If you go in an electronic store you can find kind of splitters for that... Well splitters is not the good word cause it's doing the inverse but anyway, there's 2 input 1/8 or RCA and one output (to go in the speakers...)
