I'm having problems getting 2 Sidewinder 1.0 controllers to work correctly under Windows2k. I also have an SBLive and don't know if it's an SBlive problem or sidewinder problem.
When I add them in the control panel it gives me an error that it can't install, but it installs both controllers anyway. The first controller works fine, but the second controller has sporadic jerks up and down or left and right during a game. In particular the games that I've played so far are EA Sports games, NHL 2k1 and Madden 2k2. And if you're on a menu screen the cursor goes ballistic.
Has anyone had issues like this? If so did you fix it and how? I am curious if anyone has replaced the SBLive game port driver with the MS one in Win2k and whether or not it had an effect. Or if the problem is a noted issue with EA games. I just went to 2k so I have yet to try any other games with joystick support to see if it appears to be a global OS/driver related issue or a application issue.
I'd hate to have to back to Win'98...
Any help would be appreciated.
