FORT WORTH ? Two people were shot and four stabbed Friday in a post-Thanksgiving home brawl that included a 48-year-old woman getting pistol whipped with her own gun, police said.

Three men were arrested and those injured are expected to survive, Fort Worth police Lt. Dean Sullivan said.

The fight started when an ex-boyfriend and others crashed a Thanksgiving party, leading to a fight with family members. Authorities said after the homeowner retrieved a gun, Alexander Lopez, 22, wrestled it away from her and struck the woman repeatedly with it.

Lopez later fired a round into his leg while trying to put a bullet into the chamber, police said. Others were cut with bottles and knives during the fracas.

Lopez remains jailed on three counts of aggravated assault. Edgar Reza, 20, and Maricela Oviedo, 26, were charged with two counts of aggravated assault each.

Guns don't shoot people in the leg with their own gun, people shoot people in the leg with their own gun.

Not sure whether to blame crazy Texans for this, or crazy Mexicans...

(of course, one good friend claims that Texans are just Mexicans who got lost on the way to Oklahoma!) :D
