I have 2 routers, one a 2wire and one a netgear, both are wireless.
My setup has 2 rooms. In the first room, there is a cable modem and a 2wire router hooked up to one desktop via ethernet.
In the 2nd room, one desktop computer receives the wireless signal from the 2wire router. This desktop then uses internet connection sharing to share the internet out of the ethernet port on the back of the desktop tower. The ethernet cord runs to a netgear wireless router, which I am not using the wireless on at all, just using it as a wired router. From this netgear router, I have one other desktop computer and one xbox 360 that are able to connect to the internet with no problems.
My problem lies in the 2nd room. The desktop that is sharing the wireless connection over the ethernet is not able to communicate in a home network with the xbox 360 or the other desktop computer because those devices are connected together via a separate router.
So my question is: Is there any way for 2 computers/devices on one router to communicate with 2 other computers/devices on a separate router? I'm looking for a home network type solution, one that allows me to share files between all devices.
