2 quick questions, relatively simple I think

HI guys, a quick couple questions:

I just set up my new 1.33 gig Tbird system.. new everything, including a new harddrive. My questions:

1.) Why don't my power on leds and hard drive activity leds come on? I have an enlight 7237 case and an epox k37a motherboard.. Standard, right? But they just don't come on, and I've checked the manual - they are in the right place.

2.) How can I transfer data from my old hard drive to my new one? I tried hooking it up as a slave and using the WD format utility, but it just transfered ALL the data, including my old messed up registry and Win98 settings.

1) Try flipping the connector around on your MB.

First the lights. Did you try reversing the polarity? Sounds so Star Trek I know, but just flip them around. The hard drive transfer utility will transfer the whole thing or nothing. No inbetween. You can just do a clean install of Windows and then put all your programs back on and then transfer your data files over manually or copy the whole thing and reinstall Windows and hope it takes care of the bad registry problems.
