- does Raid 0 support multiple primary partitions?
- is Linux support for ICH5R available already?

I believe that RAID0 takes both drives and makes them one large partition. I don't believe you can partition in RAID, correct me if I am wrong though.

As for Linux support I don't know because I use Windows!

I Partitioned during set-up in Wins...or you can use Partition Magic, which I've also done but prefer the prior. Plus do not go for Dynamic volumes afterwards.

the linux issue,, not a chance with out building a linux software raid partition. Doing that will make the partition scheme unrecognizable by windows. Those IDE / SATA RAID cards are kinda like winmodems, as they only work in windows. if you MUST run RAID 0 in windows then I susgest getting another HD for linux.

good luck bro,

Mitch
