1) Is there a program I could get so that I could run dnet hidden.. like all i want it to show up in is the task list.. i don't want it in the systray or anything.. u know what i mean, completely hidden.

2) I was thinking about it earlier.. if i were to make a ram drive and run dnet off of it... would I get any speed changes out of it?

1. The program itself can be installed hidden. Just run dnetc.exe -install.

2. No, that wouldn't speed it up. It would write the buffer files faster, but not increase cracking speed. Plus, if the system crashed or reset, you'd lose the work.

1) If you want to run it hidden just because you want to run it on an un-authorised machine. Dont bother. If the machine is authorised, 99% of the time it is not necessary to run it hidden. But then if you must run it, check the readme file that comes with the dnet client. It is in there. I think it is something like 'dnetc -hidden' for the command. But I seriously forgot.

2) No.

The switch is dnetc.exe -hide to run the client in "quiet" mode.

You can get a complete list of dnetc.exe switches by typing dnetc.exe -help

Not so. I can't count how many times that I've had permission from the Owner of a small business, only to later find that curious users opened up the cow to look at it, then clicked the X to close it.

Gotta second Russ on this one, my kids used to close it all the time, took several months of yelling before they left it alone.
