2 questions about Torrents..

1. I am currently downloading "The Corporation" movie from this site which supplies the entire 1.8 gb file as a torrent download. Normally when i download stuff my dsl connection runs at about 140-150kbs speeds for downloads. Opera is downloading at about
30 kbps which is quite a bit slower than i am used to. Since this is my first time torrenting with Opera's torrent client is this normal? I noticed when it first started it was quite slow but has gathered some steam as the download progresses but it still would take 15 hours at this rate.
2. After downloading this DIVX file do i just click on the file icon to watch it or do i have to burn it to dvd first?

1. It depends on how many peers you are downloading from. I usually don't use Opera's downloader. Try using Azureus or BitComet. (15 hours for a 1.8GB file seems kinda ok).
2. You should be able to just double click on it and it should play. Make sure you have the right video codecs to play it.

I suggest using uTorrent, it's lightweight and leaves a small memory footprint. As the other guy said downloading depends on how many seeds there are, the more the better. As far as the divx file is concerned, you can play it in VLC Media player without downloading codecs, or you could get an all in one codec pack like K-Lite if you wish to play it in WMP.

Hey you guys thanks for posting. I went ahead and cancelled it, and am watching the movie via You tube. I didn't feel like waiting till tomorrow to watch it.
