I just bought a k7t-raid and a tb700. I have 128MB 2/2/2 pc100, 2 20gb 7200rpm ibm deskstars begging for raid0, and am waiting on a gf2mx w/ twinview.
1- What will this chip OC to? I've heard 103fsb and a 9x clock at 1.85v.
2- I already have a socket 7-style peltier setup. With my 366@550 celeron, the whole surface of the peltier device is in contact with the chip. If I were to install this on my tbird, I'd be leaving a whole lot of overhanging peltier. I'd think this to be a condensation risk. I can't simply trim that thing, can I? Maybe jury rig an insulating square with a hole just big enough for the chip to stick through? Or am I thinking too hard?
