2 Questions about MSI KT2 Combo L

Hello all,

I recently purchased a Microstar KT2 Combo L MB. Two questions:

1) What is the speed of the onboard LAN - the network access for the computer with the new board seems to be a lot slower. Is it 10Mbps or 100Mbps?

2) I have the HSF for the CPU plugged into a digital doc and not into the MB. Everytime the computer restarts or is turned on, a warning telling me the CPU fan is not running pops up and forces me to acknowledge it. Is there a way to disable it without plugging the fan into the MB?

Thanks.

its a 10/100 lan if its not working well you might want to update the drivers and check the cable

and if i remember right you can go in bios to "pc health status" and disable the fan warning

I just checked the driver list and the file was updated yesterday 🙂 I will try updating it this evening.

In terms of the CPU Fan, I will check again. I seem to remember looking in the PC Health area and not seeing anything, but I may have missed it.

Thanks a lot.

its under "pc health status" and then "cpu fan detection" (if you have a different bios version its possible it wont be there)

No you were right. Somehow I missed it the first 3 times I looked 😱

Thanks.
