I just changed my oil, I was a little sloppy and added a bit too much oil, about .2 quarts too much. My car takes 4.4 quarts and I used 5 1 quart bottles and have 4/10s a quart left. :\

What is the easiest way to remove the extra?

If it really bothers you just take the oil filter off and drain it should be about equal to what you over filled.

i overfill mine by like 1L all the time

Enjoy replacing your engine seals.

how would additional oil mean new seals? The only thing i could think of the more oil would do is create more oil on the crank; the windage tray will not be able to keep the extra oil off the crank. Alot of oil pans can hold about 1 quart more than what the dipstick indicates, however, for all practical purposes, I wouldn't want to run with 1 quart over, unless i had a properly baffled oil pan, and was say racing the car on a oval track or autox.

Depends on the engine. If it's a big-block that takes 6-7 quarts as a baseline then it's probably at the upper limit of OK. If it's less than 3.0 litres, that extra quart will get whipped into a nice froth by the crank, increase crankcase pressure, and blow out at least one of the following: Front main seal, rear main seal, or the PCV valve.

The general advice is that an engine can tolerate up to 0.5 quart of extra oil without it becoming a problem.
