2 Q's, and an apology

Hi,

I recently joined Team Anandtech (1/5, I think), and I think I brought in 21 or 22 WUs. But, I do not see my self
on the roster. How often does the roster get updated? And, will I bring in all my WUs, or will my team WUs start when I joined the team??

I read on one of the threads in here that not using the GUI (blanking after 1 minute) will decrease WU rates by 50%. I think they are greater in my case. With my 1GHz T-Bird, I was seeing 30 hours / WU. However, by blanking the screen, it looks like my rates will drop down to 9 hours / WU, or so.
(10% in 50 minutes). My apology is for not realizing this earlier, and wasting my 600 hours. Seems like I could have almost tripled my output. Oh well, live and learn. It's kicking now.....

It sometimes takes a little while for the seti servers to actually show the move of WUs so you may want to give it a little more time to show up - even here.

And if you switch to the text client, you'll do even better than the blanked GUI!

My SETI handle is also mgpaulus, and I am running v3.03 on Win2K Pro right now, as I'm burning
in the CPU/MoBo, awaiting delivery of my GF 256 & GF2 MX. Then I will embark on upgrading/
replacing the pieces/parts of my current main system, which is a VA-503+ / K6-3+/450 / 256MB /
etc, etc.

Try going to this and enter in your SETI e-mail (not username), hopefully that will indicate if you're correctly moved over to TA or not. I think I showed up quite soon after I switched over.

Something I found out after poking around, and might want to be added to the faq. I apparently was showing up on the list, but with a blank name. I had to go into my SETI profile, and enable "Can we show your name on the SETI@home web site?". This allowed my name to be added to the "empty" slot, and walla, there I was. Thanks for all the help, and encouragement.....
