2 pin power LED connector

My Antec P160 has a power LED connector with 2 pins (female).

My motherboard (Asus P8H67-M Evo) has a 2 pin connector. No problem right? Except it's 2 separate pins with a gap in the middle. I've noticed newer cases (I just ordered a NZXT H2 for my other computer) come with power LEDs that are 2 pin but they are separated... clearly useful for this case.

What can I do in this case? Get a 2 to 3 pin connector? Shrug. But then what are the 3 pins used for? I'd have to hope its till + and - on the edges for it to work with my 2 pin mobo with a gap in the middle...
