I have a geForce 3 graphics card with a broken fan. Obviously I need a replacement and from what I understand, any CPU fan should do the trick. Unfortuntly there is only a 2 pin adapter plug on the card. I've done a google and forum search and haven't turned up with much of anything. My question:

Does anyone know of a fan that has a 2 pin power supply cable or a fan that has a REALLY long 3 pin power supply cable. I have a full tower case and the average cable length is too short to reach the Mobo.

Thanks

Um, how are you going to secure the fan? Most video card hs nowdays has integrated fans, so there is no way to attach another fan. You might as well buy a Crystal Orb, which is made for video card cooling. It comes with an adapter to plug it into the 4 pin molex.

And I don't know what you searched for, but there is 4 other geforce cooling threads right now.

Yep, it might be a problem with attaching a new fan. Unfortunately I can't help you with your primary question.
Another alternative if you fail in finding a fan is also the Zalman heatpipe solution. (ZM80-HP) Check it out at Zalman homepage
Since it doesn't have a fan it doesn't make any noise whatsoever.

Good luck!
