2 PCI Express connectors

Hello.

My Geforce 8800 GT requires 2 PCI-E 6 pin connectors. My power supply only has one, but it also has a PCI-E 6 +2 pin connector. I have a modular PS so I may can order an additonal connector, OR will the 6 +2 pin work with the normal 6 pin PCI-E connector? Thanks.
 
Sorry to be a pain, but surely someone must have experience with something like this. I plan on putting my new build together tonight and wanted to be sure I could use the graphics card tonight. Thanks.
 
try it with just one, i bet it will work.


i think the 6 + 2 connector will work, you wil just have 2 pins of it hanging out assuming it fits.
