Hello all, 1st time builder here and having some problems getting a 2nd drive to work.
Drives are :
Plextor 712A dvdrw - master
Samsung SM 352N cdrw - slave
Both are hooked up on the same IDE cable, the Plextor runs fine and have no problems with it.
The Samsung has power as i'm able to open/close the drive and led's light up, but does not read any disk be it music cd or dvd.
Windows is showing the device as disabled Code 22, device disabled due to not working properly or a resource conflict.
How can i correct this? or at the very least determine whether the drive is faulty or not.

forgot to mention i did try hitting the "enable" button but to no avail
