Wow what the heck, huge jump compared to the 70s and mid 80s. I wonder how long before 20-30% of school children are autistic in the US. At this rate it would take a few decades.

I wonder what is causing such a jump.

I think its been there but its being diagnosed as such more now that we have a better understanding. The same with AD/HD and such. My cousin has 4 children, 3 which are autistic. Sucks.
