2 NICs on WinNT... possible?

Wondering if this scenerio is possible.

WinNT 4.0 SP6a
NIC 1 - Connection to to exchange server (outlook 97)
NIC 2 - Connection to lotus notes server (lotus notes r5)

What i'm saying here is, can WinNT 4.0 connect to 2 networks simultaneously off different networks cards? I'm no networking guru so any help would be appreciated. thx.

As long as you have pci or isa slots, irq's you can put in network cards.

Give all of them a different IP adres, you can choose to put them on different subnets (networks).

It can be handy to enable ip forwarding.

Be careful not to create a network loop of sorts. Usually, this means having 2 ip addresses on the same subnet. This can cause problems sometimes.
