2 nics in NT wkstn, any one thing to look out for.

there's a pc with already 1 nic but i wish to add a 2nd one, diff. brand/drivers.

i'll shut down the pc, install the 2nd nic in a avail. slot... boot up, addnewhardware, have disk....


i guess this is it, other than any IRQ conflicts right?
 
The only things that I could think of are the IRQs and the IP configuration of both nics. I would think though that an operating system today such as Windows or Linux would take care of these problems.

no add new hardware in NT, just right click network neighborhood and go to properties then to the adapters tab.
