2 Network card configuration

Hi all,

I have a machine 1 running on win2k pro with 2 network cards (NIC A and B).
I am trying to configure NIC B to connect to a machine 2 (LAN) and NIC A to router to internet.

My configuration of NIC A and B as follow:

Router: 192.168.0.1
NIC A:
IP 192.168.0.2
gateway 192.168.0.1

NIC B:
IP 192.168.0.3
gateway 192.168.0.2

Is there anything seem wrong?

The only problem I am facing is that whenever I restart the machine and tried to browse the internet, the browser (IE) will only use NIC B, thus unable to access internet. I am able to confirm this because only the NIC B has traffic light shown thru display icon.

If I disable the NIC B, the browser will use NIC A and connection will be successful. It will be continued to be successful even after I enable the NIC B again.

Is there anything wrong with the setup? I have try the different combination of "netbios over tcp/ip" - enable/disable and it did not seem to be useful.

Could someone pls help.

Thanks.
