2 Netgear 614 Wifi routers. Can I hook them together and still have home LAN?

I am currently running a single Netgear 614 router, I have a 2nd one that is not hooked up but I would like to get it up and running on my basic network. I have 5 computers in the house, 4 hard wired, 1 wifi. I need more hardwired ports and since I already have another 614 I figured I would hook it up.

I must have it hooked up in a way where I can access any computer on the standard "workgroup" style home network. I know I can run the WAN > Port 1 and have each router on seperate gateway IP's that would allow internet access but not file sharing. So from what I have heard, I need to turn off the DHCP server on the 2nd router and that should work.

Can anyone go into a little bit more detail?

Do I run both routers on same gateway IP? (192.168.1.1)

How do I wire it? Router 1, port 1 to WAN port on 2nd router?

Thanks!!!!!!!!
