I need a program/application or whatever that will allow me to have 2 mouse inputs on the screen. I need to have 2 mouse pointers on the screen - is this possible?

TIA :)

Dont' want to vouch for it, but I don't think you can have 2 cursors on one screen. It's probably prohibited inherently by the way Windows works - you can only have one input focus at any time, i.e., try imagine what'll happen if you click in one field with cursor 1, click in another with cursor 2, and then start typing :)

On a side note, a lot of modern laptops allow you to plug more than one mouse into the USB ports, but they all control the same cursor on the screen.

You could also have two mice on a desktop system (ie, one PS/2 mouse and one USB mouse), but like lordex mentioned, you will only have a single cursor that can be controlled by each mouse. :(

To both - Yes I know that you can have multiple mice hooked up. I currently do have 2 USB mice but I'd really like to be able to use both at the same time. As my nick suggests - I do CAD work. It would be infinately helpful to have 2 meeces working instead of just one:D They make really expensive keyboards($300) that have a mouse type apparatus that hangs off the left side. They also make trackball type mice for use as a second input tool but those are around $500. I'd just like to use my little $50 mouse .... one in each hand :D

I think it's a limitation of Windows that won't let you do that. I know I saw a demo of some guy that had 4 keyboards and 4 mice hooked up to his PC all playing a different instance of quake, but that was in Linux.
