1. Can you mix and match DDR speeds, ie 400 and 333. I believe you can but wanted to make sure. MB is DFI Lan Party 875b.

2. I just built a system using the Jetway which went very well. On the board right above the PCI-e slot on the cpu side is a power connection built into the motherboard. What is the power connector for? I am not using SLI at the moment but it is capable. The manual doesnot explain what it is for. Im thinking it needs more power for sli operation, but not sure.

1) generally u can do it but the 400 will then run at 333 speed

2) hard to tell when noone here knows which exact mobo ur talking about 🙂
 
If you mean the flat 4-pin molex next to the pcie slot - it's needed to power the *second* Sli card. If you mean the squary 4-pin near the cpu socket it's the dual 12V feed and must be plugged in.
