yeah that!

It took me a while to get used to the taste of 2% milk when my mom first started buying it years ago, but eventually I did, and no whole milk tastes way to rich for me. Weird.

2% milk is the best. I always rip on my girlfriend for liking Skim milk - that stuff tastes like crap... Sometimes when she runs out of milk I pour half a glass of my 2% and fill the rest with water and stir it up to gross her out....I really don't see the difference though, heh.

Cause anything under 2% is milk flavored water! 😛

We have been buying the smart milk lately that tastes like whole milk but is only 2%. Or you can get the fat free one that tastes like 2%. It really does taste like whole milk but it is about 50% more in price. I think its worth the money to save myself from the fat.

Its 2% fat by volume but like 30% fat if you look at where the calories come from.

I was going to say..

You don't suppose anyone in the milk industry benefitted from being able to label milk as 2% fat by volume, instead of 30%+ fat by calories, like all other food?

is that how meat is packaged? i see ground beef and they give 90%/10% or 80%/20% (and others)

Whatever it is, it's so much better than 1% or the milk flavored water. 🙂

used to think that too when my parents started buying 1%... don't even notice it anymore, or miss it...
