my msdn has access to both win7 32bit and 64bit
i have a desktop and laptop that i want to install it on

i want to install the 64bit version to both of these, i'm wondering how anal microsoft is going to be if i install 2 copies with the same cd key on laptop and desktop
otherwise i'm going to have to install one of each on desktop and laptop

both systems have only 2 gigs of ram, so is there performance difference with going 64bit with <4 gigs of ram

also, my laptop is a core duo (not c2d) and that doesnt support 64bit right?

I didn't go look up the terms, but If I Recall Correctly the Technet/MSDN accounts allow up to 5 licences ...for testing purposes... Though many/most use them for personal boxes anyhow.

I do not know what the real story is.

You bought a certain level of subscription that allows certian use. Read what MSDN TOS says and follow it.

A regular key does not care about x32 or x64, and can be for one computer only.

Using One key for two computers (x32 or x64 or any combination of the two) is a violation of use and has nothing to do with "Anal".

BTW. Buying MSDN key from someone else, and using it, is an illegal transaction to begin with.
