Can you install two version of linux (red hat, caldera) on the same hard drive. if so can n-e-1 link it or post it here.

If possible can i use the same mount points

/usr
/home
/swap

since they bascially have install the same info.

Note. I dual booting form NT/98 already
I installed caldera without any problems but when in installed the second linux all i get is

LI error

PS. how the heck do you format the partition.

eg FreeBSD use not non-linux format, I would like to have all linux see each other partitions

It sounds like LILO is imporperly configured. Perhaps post your partitioning scheme and lilo.conf file and we can help?

you can dual boot multiple linux distributions. You can only share swap among them though. otherwise you'll overwrite too much stuff. the LI means you have a geometry problem. either upgrade lilo to a version that works around the problem or reinstall with the kernel below the 1024 cyclinder limit
