2 people have been killed and 15 others injured after a supermarket was stampeded in China. The supermarket was offering massive discounts in the run up to the Chinese new year.

50,000 people rushed the store last Friday, though it was only reported yesterday. Police have cancelled other huge sales across the country due the two fatalities, though this is not the first such incident in China.

Pathetic. You know how to identify people who should be removed from the gene pool? Open up a massive flea market and anybody who runs the second the gates are opened gets shot.
 
Who could be THAT f'ing cheap that they'd actually see 49,000 people ALREADY in the parking lot and STILL try to shop at that store?! I'll drive all the way to a mall and just leave if it appears too crowded lol

If it really was 50,000 rushing the gates at one store, 2 fatalities is actually better than what might be expected.

Very dangerous situation.
 
CHINA - Two criminals, code named "RossMAN" and "Psycho Andy's Brother" were arrested in connection with a stampede at a supermarket in which several were killed. The perpetrator known as RossMAN remarked as he was being led to jail, "What could I do? I heard they had Canon A40s on sale, and PAB heard a rumor about Dell 19" LCDs on the grey market for $150." Neither ATOT member has been charged in Friday's incident.

it's like those same idiots here with the day after thanksgiving sales...except 50,000 is more like a rock concert than a Walmart.
