2 Keyboards and 1 computer...possible???

I searched for a post on this but couldn't find anything (probably cuz I'm a newbie), but I was wondering if it was possible to connect 2 keyboards to 1 computer, sort of like a reverse KVM switch. Occasionally I feel like using my Natural Pro and sometimes my cordless Elite. Is there some sort of duplexer plug or ps/2 to USB or something available? Also, cheap would be good.

um yeah, but most likely one or both would have to be USB so you could hot-swap um, but i dont believe both could be on at teh same time.

or you could get another wireless one, and turn one keyboard on and the other off if you want to use one rather than the other (switch channels/turn off)

We have one computer at work that both of us need to use (budget). To solve this I got a reverses switch for $20. I can hook up 2 monitors, 2 keyboards and 2 mice and switch back and forth all day long without problems.

I have a USB and PS2 keyboard hooked up at the same time without any problems.

Yes, it's possible. I used to have my wireless usb Logitech and my ps/2 keyboard hooked up at the same time. It's nice to play games with a friend w/o hogging the keyboard.

A PS/2 connector splitter will work fine.. Radioshack = $40, cheaper elsewhere.

Get one of those USB to PS/2 adapters. They're like $5 and you can turn one keyboard into a basic USB one. They plug the other PS/2 in and you be rockin' with 2 keyboards!

I have (had) an MS Explorer and an iFeel Mouseman hooked up on the same computer at the same time.

You can connect as many USB keyboards as you want at once. Don't need a switch or anything. Just use the one you want to use.

everybody's talking about using one or the other, but is it possible to use both at once (eg have the second for specialized hotkeys)?
