2 jobs

Anyone here work 2 jobs? If so how many hours do you do total and how's the pay, do you get overtime at either one?

I'm about to take on a second job. I currently work at a comp shop at crap pay, it's great experience and I don't want to lose the job just yet, so I'm taking on a second job which offers me great benefits, tuition reimbursements, etc etc and better pay. But I'll be working like 60hrs/week probably, compared to the 35 I work right now.

If you can still get to class and make good grades, I don't think you'll have problem balancing two jobs at once.

Class? I work 35 hours per week and I'll be working another 15-25. What is this class you speak of? I already finished 2 years of college, I may take university courses later on which is what my second job is for - but while I'm doing both at the same time I'm not goign to be taking classes.

Oh, I thought you were taking classes while working two jobs. If school is not in the way, you can definately manage two jobs. Good luck if you decide that route.

why not think long term? if your second job offers GREAT benefits, why not work there full time (and maybe overtime if they'll let you)? You rarely find a company that offers benefits.
